ROLE OVERVIEW:As a Software Engineer at Melexis, you will design and develop software products, software components and applications to be used in Melexis products.
More specifically, you will:
Design, develop and maintain software components and applications to be used with company products;
Develop GUI/UI software for Melexis application interface boards, used in demonstration and instrumentation applications;
You will co-architecture SW platforms for application interface boards and adopt the systems for software development processes.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESFULL ON THIS ROLE?
University degree (engineering, electronics, mathematics or similar) and a notion of electronics
A good knowledge of languages like C++, Qt5 framework and Python, Java/Android and 2+ years of experience in writing software;
Familiar with the GNU/Linux compiler and build tools (CMake, Make);
Experience working with integrated development environments like MS Visual Studio, Qt Creator and Eclipse;
Good documentation skills: ability to read and interpret higher level requirements, specifications, and design and implementation documents;
Debugging and validation skills;
Version control knowledge (Git), configuration management, software continuous integration build and test tools.
