The primary purpose of this position is to help support the SOX IT Compliance Program. This role will be responsible for testing and documenting key SOX IT General Controls (ITGC) through workpapers, walkthroughs and/or observations. It is highly desirable that the candidate have a strong understanding of AWS Cloud and/or Microsoft Azure tools and technology.

What to expect:
Support IT SOX compliance activities, including annual planning, performing walk-throughs, documenting and analyzing procedures and controls, and preparing work papers.
Be responsible for the Global IT SOX Framework maintenance, ensuring SOX documentation is accurate and correctly addressing risks arising from technology. This includes evaluation of the adequacy of key controls and related documentation and provide recommendations where areas of improvement exist;
Work with the IT GRC team in the update of SOX documentation and evaluate scoping of controls as new systems are developed and/or process changes.
Collaborate on the evaluation of deficiencies noted in testing, both by internal SOX team and external audit and work with process and controls owners to ensure timely remediation
Identify risk mitigation opportunities (compensating controls) for deficient areas and advises on remediation plans and timing.
Partner with process and control owners to design, update, or enhance processes and controls, providing expertise to identify opportunities for controls rationalization and automation for operational, financial, application (ITACs) and information technology general controls (ITGCs)

Your Profile:
Strong academic record, including bachelor or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent
5 years’ experience in internal audit, security, risk, compliance, or other assurance discipline
Relevant IT audit public accounting (Big 4) and/or private industry experience in IT SOX compliance
Experience working with JIRA and AuditBoard
Knowledge of the ISACA and/or IIA professional audit standards
Experience of auditing or providing assurance over IT general controls and IT processes (IT Operations, Agile SDLC, Information Security, etc.) within the financial services or other highly regulated industry
Holds globally recognized certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP
Experience in IT Service Management or knowledge and understanding of ITIL, COBIT Frameworks
