We are looking for a Cyber Security Intern to join our Acronis Cyber Protect team, responsible for Acronis’ flagship product. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vulnerability research, risk assessment, and security analysis within a real-world software development environment.
This role is ideal for candidates interested in software security, open-source ecosystems, and threat modeling.
WHAT YOU’LL DO

Build and maintain internal services for R&D using Python

WHAT YOU BRING

Basic to intermediate Python skills (able to write scripts, parse JSON/APIs, and automate tasks)

Problem-solving mindset, willing to dig into technical logs

English communication skills (for documentation/tickets). .

WHAT WILL BE A PLUS

Basic understanding of C++ or Go (a huge plus, but not required)

Familiarity with compilation workflows (e.g., GCC, MSVC build chains).

Familiarity with resolving build dependency issues (you can tell compilator errors from linker ones).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Currently studying Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, etc.).

Basic knowledge of security vulnerabilities.
