General duties:
Understands and analyzes the data needs of the Advanced Analytics use cases and defines the appropriate technical solutions to deliver these data according to the Advanced Analytics solutions roadmap;
Provide relevant data to backup and test the hypothesis to be explored in identified by the Data Scientists, Product Owners and Business Owners;
Builds infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using Python, SQL, Azure Data Factory;
Create and maintain data ingestion pipelines including data delivery process optimization (ETL, ELT) and implements data quality controls;
Participates in building the platform for the Advanced Analytics use cases, based on the systems used in DSK Bank like Azure, k8s, Databricks and other;
Deliver data to provide insights for the data analysts and business;
Identify and implement improvement of tasks and processes including automation;
Works with data scientists, data analysts, product managers, data architects and other stakeholders to improve the quality of the machine learning models;
Follow agile methodology when developing the respective technical solutions;
Maintains the relevant technical documentation including relevant Data Dictionary up to date.

Requirements:
Practical knowledge with data extraction and transformation tools, including big data and cloud platforms (MS Azure, Spark, Databricks) and traditional ETL tools;
Strong Python, Pyspark and SQL skills;
Experience in working with complex structured and unstructured data sets;
Good knowledge of data architecture, database managements systems, performance tuning and infrastructure optimization;
Ability to work independently and with other groups in a professional and productive manner;
Ability to develop and automate reporting needs;
Bachelor or higher degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or related field;
Minimum of 2-3 years' hands-on experience as data engineer, software developer or data analyst;
Excellent problem solving skills and strong attention to detail;
Strong organizational and time management skills;
Working knowledge of English language.
