General duties:
Setup, maintain, optimize and secure various Kubernetes clusters on MS Azure Cloud (AKS)
Managing Kubernetes resources and deployments using kubectl, Helm and YAML.
Assist developers in using the Kubernetes platforms and utilizing the CI/CD process related to Kubernetes deploy
Create and configure cloud-based environments and services
Maintain and follow cloud baseline and target architecture with technical engagement and be responsible for the technical designs that match the project needs and business goals
Propose and/or design technical target solutions, which include creating prototypes and proofs of concept while maintaining a cloud mindset
Configure and improve monitoring systems to provide swift responses to critical alerts to prevent outages
Implement and apply cloud practices and policies, deploy HIPAA, PCI-DSS and SOC2 compliant cloud environments
Be a trusted automation and tooling advisor for SysOps initiatives by providing objective, practical and relevant ideas, insights and advice
Design, build and maintain fully auditable and replicable infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and immutable infrastructure approaches
Be part of a wide spectrum of projects: secure and scalable deployments, container workloads,
Develops project documentation containing standards, policies, procedures and best practices.

Requirements:
Good knowledge of architecture patterns and architecture best practices
Experience in cloud technologies especially Azure
Familiar with SRE principles
Understand SOA, microservices, RESTful APIs, messaging/pub-sub, and data integration solutions
Background and knowledge of design, implement and managing common Azure services (Virtual Machine, Database, Storage, Virtual Network, Azure Resource Manager, Azure Defender, etc.)
Overall IT infrastructure understanding in Networking, Authentication, Authorization, Security and compliance, Experience with hosted data center environments
DevOps and DevSecOps tools and methodologies knowledge, including IAM, containerization, and serverless solutions
Basic experience in RDBMS
Hands-on experience installing, configuring and operating Linux and/or Windows servers
Familiar with Networking and internetworking, SDN
Ability and desire to quickly ramp up new concepts and technologies
Good understanding of virtualization technologies, e.g., VMware
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey complex technical topics to multiple audiences
Fluent English both written and verbal
