Job Description

Working for a global organization, in this this role you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, improving and maintaining new and existing database systems and applications within an agreed timescale and quality.

In the role you will be required to collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to provide technical support and identify new requirements.

You're probably wondering what you'll be doing:

· Participating in the entire software development lifecycle. Responsible for everything related to database development and support;
· Creating complex packages, functions, scripts, stored procedures, triggers and data flows to support application development;
· Troubleshooting database related issues and perform bug fixes in compliance with the SLA;
· Optimizing complex code areas and ensuring that all the modules perform at their best;
· Responsible for code quality through review processes and facilitate code review sessions on a regular basis;
· Providing the necessary support within the team to ensure constant knowledge growth in both technical and product domains. Mentoring more junior members;

Qualifications

We look for you to bring:

· Around 6 years of professional experience with Oracle 12c or higher version and PL/SQL;
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related information technology field;
· Practical experience of the development lifecycle and methodologies;
· Practical experience with version control systems and/or CI/CD;
· Good understanding of data and schema standards and concepts;
· Good understand of database design, implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance;
· Proactive and self-motivated attitude;
· Strong communication skills.
· Team player;
· Analytical thinking abilities;
· Strong judgment and problem-solving abilities;
· Ability to plan technical solutions;
· Working level of English;
· Experience with ETL tools and/or Oracle Apex is considered as a plus.
