DIRECTOR OF DATA CENTER OPERATIONS

Director Data Center responsibilities:
This role will provide oversight, monitoring, and direction to operating data centers in Bulgaria, with a strong focus on leadership and operational excellence. The Director will lead the team responsible for managing the data center platform and providing data center, colocation, connectivity, and cloud services to local and international companies. The role is responsible for strategy execution, sales management, business operations, and technical infrastructure of the Datacenter platform. The Director will lead the technical team in the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of the data center infrastructure. Last but not least, you will execute sales and channel strategies to acquire new customers, and lead a team that collectively achieves revenue targets, new product sales goals, and gross margin goals.
What will be the essential requirements for the role?
- At least 3+ years in Data center environment in a management/leadership role;
- University degree (at least Bachelor's degree) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related IT specialty;
- Proven track record in a management role which has included responsibility for service, people, and business growth;
- Experience in client management and client relations;
- Very good command of English language (both written and verbal);
- Ability to understand commercial and financial metrics;
- Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and other senior management within and outside the organization;
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, organization, and business-planning abilities.
