Our client is expanding their team due to new projects and now they are looking for the next IT Rockstar who will have the opportunity to be the first one in the company to hold the position of:
SENIOR DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
You will be the first Database Administrator here in the office in Sofia, Bulgaria. You will be the key person in this position and will be responsible for the design, building, and implementation of new databases. You will have to minimize database downtime, monitor database performance, implement changes, and troubleshoot for potential problems that affect databases' functionality and related programs.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ years of professional experience as a Database Administrator;
- Hands-on experience with one of the following databases - PostgreSQL, Oracle, MS SQL Server.
- Excellent knowledge of backup, recovery, database tuning, and data security;
- Good working level of English (B2/C1).
Here is what will definitely make you stand out:
- Good understanding of pl/pgSQL or/and ANSI SQL;
- Some experience or knowledge of scripting programming languages (Perl, Shell, Bash).
