Job Description

We are looking for Head of Procurement, to cover the EMEA region and lead a team of 5 people, currently located in UK, South Africa, Bulgaria and Spain, as well as providing local stakeholders with specialist subject matter support provided by leveraging large country category structure.

You're probably wondering what you'll be doing:

· Ensuring that the EMEA external vendor spend is undertaken in a way that maximises the value for the regions whilst ensuring that the contracts provide a framework of risk management acceptable to the Company;
· Ensuring that there are standard contract terms and conditions in place that adequately safeguard Experian from loss or exposure to unnecessary business risk;
· Accountable to global and regional leadership on procurement and supply chain issues managing the regional procurement team to deliver defined and measurable year on year savings;
· Being a trusted advisor on all procurement matters measured by our NPS programme;
· Reporting savings, track exceptions and identify opportunities to the Group CPO and regional executive;
· Ensuring that audit requirements are met including document retention;
· Driving a productivity agenda for procurement by simplifying, digitising and automating;
· Leading, developing and retaining a diverse team whose diversity empowers them to challenge, deliver and inspire others;
· Using the strength of the global team to provide different perspectives and opportunities through short term secondments, job rotations.

Qualifications

We look for you to bring:

· Around 7 to 10 years of procurement experience;
· Highly developed negotiation skills;
· Ability to analyse and interpret complex numerical and non numerical data and present outcomes and make recommendations;
· Understanding of commercial contracting across the multiple countries Experian operates in;
· Relationship building at a C-Suite level both within Experian and with vendors across different countries and cultures;
· Communication and reporting skills. Flexibility in working across complex internal and external organizational structures;
· Facilitating dialog across suppliers, multiple geographies, cultures and languages and business units to optimize the overall Experian position;
· Ability to manage, develop, retain and motivate a team working across, functional, geographical and business boundaries often at a senior level;
· Networking and researching – keeping current with trends, opportunities and challenges;
· Leading procurement aspects of integration / disposal activities;
· University degree in Business or experience in Business environment.
