Also they offer various account types, trading software, and tools to facilitate individuals and institutional customers to trade Forex and CFDs online. The company is expanding their team and, we are looking for a:
Database Engineer (Cloud)
What we are looking for?
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position;
- University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or similar in equivalent field;
- Deep experience in MariaDB/Mongo clusters;
- Hands on experience in SQL and Linux/Unix system administration (troubleshooting);
- Previous experience using one of the following: Python, Ruby, or Java.
- Some experience with configuration management systems (Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, Ansible) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Graphite and Grafana) will be a great plus.
What will be your responsibilities?
• To implement and maintain MariaDB/Mongo Clusters Monitor and tune their performance.
• To participate in the design and implementation of HA/DR policies
• To review ER Diagrams and overall database architecture, suggest possible improvements and to review and optimize MariaDB/Mongo queries
• To build and maintain services, automation, and tooling that will positively impact the database layer area
• and to demonstrate the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a specialized team
