About the role
During the first months of your professional journey with MentorMate, you will focus on a tailored training program to help you expand your technical expertise and become an expert on the latest technologies on the market. Once you pass the training, you will enter a project and work in a dynamic and challenging environment where you can practice your new skills. That’s not all! You will have the chance to accelerate your leadership skills and implement them in enterprise projects by leading a software development team.

Your focus will be on the following

Training and upskilling
Go through an individual training program customized for you
Level up your knowledge and build essential technical skills in cutting-edge technologies in the front-end (React, Vue, Angular, React Native) and/or back-end (Node, Python, PHP, Ruby) fields
Have access to an additional individual training budget
Build essential technical leadership skills, learn how to improve your personal effectiveness, and gain a deeper understanding of software development processes and roles
Software engineering
Develop complex state-of-the-art software projects for enterprise clients
Participate in the architecture, design, and development phase of software production
Be responsible for developing and testing critical components of the system
Deliver high-quality software with extensive Unit Testing
Enforce best coding and UI standards, and evaluate others’ work
Communicate with global team members and clients
Participate in an established Scrum process
Have the opportunity to prove yourself and take on the technical lead role of a project where you will l-lead a team of up to 7 Software and QA Engineers

What you need to have
2+ years of experience with one or more of the following technologies: React, Vue, Angular, React Native, Node, Python, PHP, Ruby
Strong knowledge of front-end and/or back-end design patterns for web
Good understanding of data structures and algorithms
Experience with relational and nonrelational databases
Proficiency in interaction with a wide variety of APIs
Efficiency in establishing security and sustainability
Desire to gain deeper technical and leadership skills
Analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
Аbility to lead and work in a collaborative, cross-functional, international team environment
Excellent spoken and written English
A significant advantage would be
Knowledge of user interface and user experience
Experience in developing and deploying mobile/ hybrid applications (App Store and Google Play)
Experience with BaaS platforms like AWS, Azure, Firebase, and/or Heroku
