Our partner is an international IT company that develops intuitive and user-friendly software solutions for the gaming industry including sportsbook applications, iGaming platforms for sports betting, casino, and poker. The company is among the innovators in the gaming arena with products that they have built from scratch, incorporating years of experience in the field.
Currently, they are growing, and together with the company we are looking to find and hire an experienced professional to join the Operations Department as a:
DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Your responsibilities:
This is a critical role within the organization and that's why the Database Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the company's databases, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining MariaDB/MySQL configurations. You will work closely with the dev team in the design and optimization of data structures, to ensure systems are updated, and maintain detailed documentation of database systems and processes. Last but not least – the DBA must keep up-to-date with the latest versions of the systems.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in the design and implementation of database architectures;
- Strong proficiency in utilizing Linux, databases, and open-source software;
- In-depth understanding of MariaDB /MySQL administration;
- Mastery of SQL queries, query optimization, and stored procedures;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2/ B2+ level);
- A highly organized and responsible person who is capable of working under pressure;
- Readiness to keep up-to-date with new trends and developments in database administration.
