In this role, you’ll work in our IBM Client Innovation Center (CIC), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ These centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you’ll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.

You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system to facilitate, iterate and document the design and adoption of a hybrid cloud model.

Your primary responsibilities include:

You will act as a trusted advisor aligned to industry trends that develops the framework and integrated solutions that meet the customer’s business needs
Collaborate with members of the client and IBMers team to define and execute proofs of concept and minimum viable solutions
Own the solutions architecture plan while being a “hands-on” builder in a client-facing engagement
Champion an entrepreneurial mindset and deliver unique value by leveraging industry and technology expertise to drive innovative strategies to accelerate clients’ success
Your expertise will be appreciated by our sales team who you will assist to create new products and offerings. In most of the projects, daily serving includes Linux, Windows, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Python,Bash, Powershell, AWS, GCP, Terraform, Jenkins, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Hands-on experience with Cloud Architecture Design and/or Cloud ArchitectualPatterns for Development;advanced knowledge ofat least one of the following platforms: ​GCP, Azure, AWS;
Previous experience in the design and delivery of systems based on IaaS, PaaS and SaaSofferings, as well as exposure to different architecture models
DevOps skills for leading team and consulting the customer; experience with building CI/CD pipelines;
Knowledge of security, network, virtualization, load balancer, storage and database; container technologies experience (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift)
Hands-on experience with IaC for managing the cloud; coding/scripting skills (Bash, Python, Powershell, or similar)
Fluency English – both written and verbal
