Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a Software Developer you’ll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients’ hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.

Your primary responsibilities include:

Define architect and create desired migration solutions for existing on premise applications
Advise clients and teams regarding the set-up of cloud
Ensue responsiveness of the applications and improve performance
Assist in creating and setting-up the DevOps / CI/CD pipelines, Technical solution design, implementation, build and test of new requirements

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

3+ years of working experience with Java, and Spring
Exposure to Java SE 11+, Spring framework, Spring Boot and subprojects like: Spring Data, Spring AOC, Spring Security, Spring MVC Rest, Spring Testing, Spring Actuator, Junit 5, Mockito, Gradle/maven, RDMS and NoSQL (document-based, key-value store), Angular 8+, Javascript ES6+
Exposure to testing frameworks like: Jest, Jasmine, Cypress, RxJS, NgRx (redux pattern), Module bundlers like webpack, HTML5, CSS3
Professional experience following agile processes such as Scrum
Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

● Experience with Angular would be a plus
● Knowledge of Unix based OSs and networking, working experience in agile and DevOps teams
● Experience with AWS or Azure (edited)
