Our partner is an international IT company that develops intuitive and user-friendly software solutions for the gaming industry including sportsbook applications, and iGaming platforms for sports betting, casino, and poker. The company is among the innovators in the gaming arena with products that they have built from scratch, incorporating years of experience in the field.
Currently, they are growing, and together with them we are looking to find and hire a few skilled professionals to join the Backend Development Department as:
SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (PHP)
What you will do...
While collaborating with the Dev team, Project Managers, and Product Owners, you will take an active part in the analysis, design, development, and delivery of end-to-end features, employing industry best practices, with a special focus on scalability and high performance.
Besides, you will:
- Take ownership of system stability over different environments;
- Maintain and continually improve the existing systems and protocols to meet evolving business needs and creative ideas for improvement;
- Offer technical support and resolve any related issues;
- Integrate new products into the existing framework;
- Mentor and exchange your knowledge with other developers in the company;
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and advancements.
Must have requirements:
- 3+ years of previous professional experience with pure PHP (willing to work without the use of frameworks!) and OOP;
- Practical and recent experience working in a LEMP environment;
- Experience in REST with high-load environments, and a deep understanding of Web Socket-based infrastructure;
- Hands-on experience with MySQL (writing and optimizing MySQL queries);
- Basic knowledge/experience with JavaScript, jQuery, HTML/ CSS;
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile principles, Quality, Security, and Continuous Delivery concepts;
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking & Agile environment (at least B2 level).
