Currently, they are growing, and together with the company we are looking to find and hire an experienced professional to join the Operations Department as a:
DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR
Your responsibilities:
This is a critical role within the organization and that's why you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of the company's databases, with a strong focus on managing and maintaining MariaDB/MySQL configurations. You will work closely with the dev team to design and optimize data structures, ensure systems are updated, and maintain detailed documentation of database systems and processes.
Expected skills and qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience in the design and implementation of database architectures;
- In-depth understanding and hands-on experience with MariaDB / MySQL administration in a real production environment;
- Knowledge/experience in the deployment, maintenance, clustering, and scaling in relation to the MySQL RDBMS;
- Mastery of SQL queries, query optimization, and stored procedures;
- Strong proficiency in utilizing Linux, databases, and open-source software;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2/ B2+ level);
- A highly organized and responsible person who is capable of working under pressure;
- Readiness to keep up-to-date with new trends and developments in database administration.
