As an AV Technician, you will play a crucial role in installing and maintaining AV and IT equipment in our state-of-the-art studios. Audio and Video Technician


Key Responsibilities:
Install various AV and IT equipment in accordance with plans and diagrams provided by the Broadcast Engineer;
Install professional video cameras in the studio and establish SDI connections to server room equipment;
Run low-voltage wiring for video, audio, and network cabling throughout our studios and facility, including the installation of server racks, cameras, and NVR/DVR systems;
Handle the installation and configuration of SDI, XLR, and Ethernet cables, including tipping, crimping, and testing;
Minimize service disruptions by promptly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision in the event of equipment failure;
Work efficiently during 8-hour shifts, including night shifts.

Qualifications and Skills:
Expertise in assembling, disassembling, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing computers and hardware;
Knowledge and use of basic test equipment, such as multimeters, as well as basic AC/DC circuitry (preferred);
Understanding of a television control room environment;
Basic knowledge of operating a video camera;
Fundamental understanding of sound equipment, including microphones and audio mixers;
Eagerness to learn new technical skills and grow professionally.

We are seeking candidates with a good level of English who are willing to work in shifts, including night shifts. We are specifically looking for individuals with more video knowledge than audio, who possess technical expertise and experience in cable installation.
