Introduction
Technical Account Manager is a key role in the delivery of a proactive IT technology services consulting to keep a healthy Customer environment and relationship.

Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role you will be assigned to several Customer accounts where your technical expertise will help them use their IT environment more efficiently. Your main work will be focused on three core activities:
• Building an in-depth knowledge about your Customers’ environments by analyzing past trends and performing health-checks
• Communicating analysis and improvement recommendations to the Customers
• Driving resolution of critical Customer problems connecting/networking with the IBM support teams

Occasionally, you will also directly provide technical assistance and account management advice to less experienced Customer personnel.
These services are standardized with defined delivery process, Customers are in EMEA territory (EU time zone), this activity is 9-5 Mon-Fri.

Besides professional development program related directly with your Customer account role, you will have chance to develop in the other technical and business areas. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

1. Technical Profile

The candidate needs to have at least one of the following:

System administration knowledge of AIX & Middleware (WAS, MQ, HTTPs, LDAP, GPFS)
Linux: Admin level skill and experience for a major Linux OS (ie. RedHat/SusE)
Storage support or administration experience (SAN, NAS, DAS)
2. Other required skills:

German language – fluent in speaking and writing
English language – fluent in speaking and writing
Technical formal degree – preferably in IT science.
IBM POWER platform: system administration skills in AIX OS, PowerHA, PowerVM
IBM and MVS Storage platforms
IBM I platform, system admin skills
IT technology support delivery experience is preferred
