ORACLE Database Administrator


Main responsibilities and duties:

As an Oracle Database Administrator, your responsibilities will be related to organizing, leading, controlling, and managing the process of applicative database administration of the organization's core systems, as well as linking with them reporting RR databases. In order to ensure excellent performance of the databases you are going to provide your expertise in administering, maintaining, developing, and implementing policies and procedures. The role is responsible for tunning Oracle databases, analyzing and creating indexes, and writing storage procedures. Last but not least, you will have the opportunity to move forward and become a Senior Expert with the opportunity to lead the team.


Essential requirements for the role:

- 5+ years of professional experience in Oracle 12c databases and PL/SQL;
- Deep knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM);
- Strong experience and understanding of cost of the database queries, optimization of queries, indexing, and partitioning;
- Experience in DBA functions such as Backup and Recovery using RMAN, Monitoring of systems, Maintenance, Performance tuning, and Dataguard;
- University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, (Software) Engineering, or other relevant specialty;
- Very good command of English.
