HARDWARE DESIGN ENGINEER


What is your role?

Your responsibilities comprise the entire design cycle: component selection, schematic, layout, laboratory bench testing, design verification, and integration, and handover of finished designs to test engineering and production. For that reason you will:

- Analyze the features of a new product and participate in the creation of its architecture (block diagrams, modules, etc.);
- Analyze the specific requirements for every module (block) and create proof-of-concept scenarios (schematics);
- Create a circuit diagram of the device, choosing the right components complying with various requirements (electrical characteristics, price-performance, power consumption, physical size, etc.);
- Design the PCB of the product considering the mechanical requirements as well as involved in the development and testing of the product;
- Participate in all stages of certification of the products and preparation of technical documentation incl. Instructions and manuals.


What are the key requirements for the role?

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, (Electrical) Engineering, IT Automation, or similar technical specialty;
- 3+ years of experience in the development of analog or/and digital electronics;
- Expertise in EDA and PCB design and schematics tools (at least one of the mentioned - Altium Designer, KiCad, EAGLE, Fusion 360, OrCAD);
- Ability to read and understand schematics;
- Ability to write software documentation – design documents, test reports, manuals;
- Familiarity with embedded RTOS;
- Experience with embedded systems/ development and embedded signal processing;
- Working level of English (both written and verbal);
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
