SERVICE TRANSITION MANAGER (IT OPERATIONS)


The Service Transition Manager is responsible for providing support for the Change, Release, Incident, and Problem Management processes. You will be here to fully understand business needs and coordinate with / support the outsourcing supplier when introducing change. The Service Transition Manager is also responsible for the planning and coordination of changes, between Services Operations, the Business, and the supplier to minimize the likelihood of any disruption or degradation of service during the lifecycle of the change.

For that reason, you have to build and maintain close relationships with the Business, understand their goals, issues, and constraints, and be seen as a trusted advisor on how best to introduce and support their technology services.


For this role, you must have:

- Proven professional experience as a Service Transition Manager and/or Project Manager in a multi-technology environment;
- Excellent understanding of change and release management processes as well as ITIL Service Transition process knowledge and experience;
- Experience in transitioning large-scale projects covering multiple internal teams and vendors, from development to support;
- Experience in designing end-to-end service and support models;
- ITIL v3 certified;
- Knowledge and experience of project methodologies Agile, DevOps, and traditional Waterfall;
- University degree (Bachelor's or higher degree) in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration;
- Understanding of new technologies and their support issues, in particular, Cloud based and/or SAP;
- Strong command of both written and verbal English (B2 level or higher).


We'd definitely consider a strong advantage if you have:

- ITIL Certificate in IT Service Transition;
- Experience in PRINCE2 Project Delivery environment;
