Digital Communications – Social Media Expert


Brand New Ideas is looking to recruit an expert in digital communications for the position Social Media Expert.

The Social Media Expert will create content and campaigns for the social media channels of Brand New Ideas online media and especially for its clients. He/she will be involved with planning and execution of social media campaigns, as well as managing the company accounts in Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Google+, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.

Main responsibilities:
• Creating and executing social media communications strategies for the company channels’ content, brands and sub-brands;
• Working closely with the Marketing department, the Communications departments, and a digital communications agency for the execution of social media campaigns, including paid campaigns;
• Creating and scheduling daily postings on the company’s social media accounts;
• Managing multiple posting schedules/content calendars;
• Monitoring brand mentions and direct messaging for users feedback and tone of conversation around the company channels and brands;
• Following and interacting with other users/pages on various networks;
• Producing reports and analyses on a regular basis;
• Staying on top of the latest social media news/trends/updates, related to the media industry;

The ideal candidate:
• Demonstrates strong organizational and prioritization skills with attention to detail;
• Has excellent writing and editing skills (Bulgarian and English);
• Has excellent communication skills’, and is a team player;
• Works effectively under pressure, and on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously;
• Is self-motivated and responsible
• Demonstrates a strong interest in the company’s success and development;

Additional requirements:
• University degree in PR, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Philology or similar
• Minimum three years of experience in the social media space
• Knowledge of image sourcing, attribution, licensing, and copyright guidelines
