On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Operations Manager (Stara Zagora).

Subordination, Connections, and Interaction:

• Communicates with all employees from functionally related departments in the company;
• Reports to the Plant Managers;
• Directly subordinated to the Plant Managers.
• Main duties and responsibilities:
• Leading and pushing the production day by day to operational excellence and efficiency;
• Leading the total production team incl. the department managers;
• Ensuring technically and economically optimal production processes;
• Coordination of processes in the department, structuring and optimization of workflows and processes;
• Ensuring the operational capability of existing production equipment;
• Implementation and development of measures to increase productivity;
• Ensure that our customers are supplied on schedule and in the correct quantities;
• Ensuring the general and product-related quality objectives;
• Responsibility for compliance with statutory regulations;
• Systematic personnel management and development;
• Coordination of processes in the department, structuring and optimization of workflows and processes;
• Coordination of machine scheduling and personnel planning;
• Interdepartmental cooperation with the department managers from other areas.

Requirements for the position:

• Technical education master or bachelor degree of Engineering;
• Work experience in a metal production company;
• Several years of professional experience;
• Experience in employee management and development;
• Good knowledge in improvement and shop floor management tools;
• Good IT Knowledges in MS Office;
• Good English language knowledges, German will be an advantage;
• Clear direction and strongly KPI oriented, however also taking care of people and regulations.
