Responsibilities

Understand customer needs through talking to customers, observing and through data analysis:
- Set Vision, define/create user stories and prioritise within Backlog based on business benefit
- Work collaboratively with Scrum team to create on time & quality features to be released into the market
- Problem solver
- Lead Sprint Planning sessions
Contributes to moderately complex tasks or aspects of a project or product;
Work is independant and collborative in nature;
Provides regular updates to manager on work status;
Assess Product opportunities;
Understand business needs and analyse competitive products;
Creates, communicates and delivers product vision
Creates KPIS for product performance
Cross functional stakeholder Management
Obtains buy-in from cross fucntional team on backlog
Manages product based on KPIs agreed upon with stakeholders
Key interface to cross functional teams - inbound and outbound comms
Informs cross functional team of performance
Communciates transaprrent backlog to organization
Define and track product life cycle
Owns priortised backlog and Groom backlog
Creates backlog working with Cross functional teams
Drive Product Launch including coordination with cross functional teams
Support and Monitor post product release
Document product features
Product ownership
Understand regular competitive analysis of similar products / services
Organises cross-functional sessions to capture requirements and generate ideas. Generates excitement for possible future in external colleagues, while managing expectations on timelines.




Candidate Requirements

Several years of product management within a busy transactional operation
Ideally some experience within Sales CRM (Salesforce)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Experiencing engaging with stakeholders on all levels in the business, the delivery team colleagues, customers; managing stakeholder expectations in a pro-active manner.
Good understanding of the payment industry or previous experience in finance.
Experience of analysing the performance of existing products, managing KPIs, and identifying opportunity based on cost-benefit analysis
Specification of clear requirements to engineering teams
Experience of the full product lifecicle from concept to implementation and post-launch analysis
In-depth experience of idnetifying and understanding user needs and behaviour in a business and business to consumer product environment
An analytical mind and the ability to understand commercial business drivers
Proven experience of working closley with an engineering team
Ability to take ownership, creatively solve probelms and pr-actilvey secure the objectives of the business
Strong attention to detail.
