Main Responsibilities:

• Processes purchase requisitions, creates purchasing orders and RFQs within the ERP (SAP) and conducts tendering (RFQ) procedure applying objectivity, transparency, equal opportunity, and best business practices;
• Researches market for most appropriate suppliers;
• Conducts bids in accordance with internal procedures;
• Continuously maintaining housekeeping to ensure all stakeholders are kept up to date;
• Arranges transport and customs clearance of goods to the company’s premises when required;
• Requests, verifies and submits relevant information in Vendor Master database;
• Produces reports on activities;
• Participates in the preparation of long term contracts in the ERP (SAP) and use them to replenish stock levels and deliver small services;
• Recognize the correct unit rates, material groups, purchase groups, and advise PR creator for changes. Follow up with customers and suppliers for delivery times.

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Relevant university degree;
• Purchasing experience – min. 3 years;
• Strong knowledge of mathematical and logical functions in MS Excel;
• ERP knowledge, SAP required;
• Familiar with Procure to Pay process;
• Fluency in English;
• Negotiation and communication skills;
• Customer management and orientation;
• Acts with integrity following company standards;
• Background in the heavy industry will be considered as advantage.
