The Remote Delivery Manager (RDM) is a remote client contact position responsible for managing the delivery of in-scope contracted services across all service delivery towers ensuring that performance goals (SLAs) and delivery cost commitments are met. The RDM promotes Customer Satisfaction through efficient, effective delivery of services proactively managing issues that could impact service delivery, identifying and driving optimisation while managing scope, resources, cost of delivery and coordination.

The RDM understands the client at the local, country, regional level in order to analyse delivery requirements, contribute to client’s strategic business plan, and identify incremental revenue opportunities. The RDM actively seeks opportunities to drive down the cost of delivery. The RDM is the principal contact for all service and operational issues for the client and for HPE delivery organisations. The RDM develops and nurtures an excellent client relationship supporting the Client Business Manager (where applicable) in establishing the customer as a reference account and supporting activity growth and upselling opportunities.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

Develops and nurtures relationships with the customer via regular, remote, contact.
Owns customer operational relationship - develops & nurtures to drive excellent customer satisfaction, retention and growth.
Cooperation with key customer contacts for reactive and proactive issues including problem and penalty avoidance.
Understands customer at local, country, regional level to analyse delivery requirements & contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.
Manages customer expectations by developing performance metrics & reporting, and escalation management.
Owns cost target commitments for all service delivery elements.
Ability to effectively and proactively manage risk in accounts.
Works with Account Support Team & all delivery organizations to deliver against SLA requirements.
Develops & manages account service delivery plan.

Requirements:

Master’s Degree or equivalent combination of education & experience
4+ years experience in Process/Project Management
Project Management capabilities
ITIL v3 Foundations certified / ITSM experience
Fluent in written and verbal English and German
Industry sector knowledge (finance, manufacturing, etc.)
Multi-cultural and x-country experience desired
Ability to build & manage strong customer relationship via a remote environment
Strong communicator
Ability to prepare clear, concise and persuasive communications for multiple audiences including demonstrating effective writing, presentation skills, listening actively
Ability to understand & analyse an issue or problem to develop & implement a corrective action plan
Leadership ability to build & manage a cross cultural, cross tower & cross business team for effective & efficient customer support
Ability to develop & present high impact message to mid level management
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written & presentation
Advanced knowledge of MS Office package, including MS Visio
Process Management software and tools
Advanced MS SharePoint skills
