HSE Supervisor - Turk Stream (South Stream)Gi Group is part of Gi Group Italy - one of the world’s leading companies providing services for the development of the labor market, operating in the fields of temporary and permanent staffing, search and selection, as well as a variety of complementary HR consulting activities.
On behalf of our client, an international logistic company specialized in the oil and gas industry and part of the project Turk Stream (South Stream), we are looking for an experienced and proactive professional for the role of:
HSE Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Support the HSE Manager and team with planning, coordinating and implementing of effective HSE policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure that the department objectives are met;
Provide support to Project and Operation team in all aspects of safety, occupational health, safety and environmental issues;
Support the HSE Manager in ensuring HSE compliance on site and perform regular HSE inspections in the working areas and operations;
Attend Safety meetings as required on HSE related matters;
Conduct tool box meetings, and drills as part of the company’s training and HSE program, i.e. emergency response systems, etc. ;
Manage Safety Statistic reporting. Track and provide regular HSE performance on site reporting to the HSE Managers;
Assist in the development of project specific HSE procedures and/or instructions;
Conduct HSE trainings and orientation to all new employees and/or site visitors;
Ensure all worksites are HSE compliant with company policies and safety standards;
Support HSE department in the development of work site HSE campaigns and good practices.
The profile:
Technical education - diploma in Engineering, with specialization in HSE or related discipline will be considered a great advantage;
Fluency of English;
Very good computer skills;
Certification in NEBOSH is highly preferred;
Knowledge in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and HSE management systems is highly preferred;
Minimum 1 year relevant experience in Oil & Gas-Offshore Construction or Marine Industry;
Analytical and problem solving skills;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
Strong organizational skills with excellent relationship building.
Self-starter attitude and track record with seamlessly executing quickly on complex projects with minimal guidance;
Detail oriented with an ability to think strategically and make recommendations.
