The Financial Analyst in the Finance and Planning department is a role responsible for financial analysis and controlling of the dedicated regional unit. What will be your responsibilities:
Responsible for one or more Europe Resource Units (RU) financial controlling;
Controlling of all costs flowing to the respective RUs;
Preparation of different types of reports & analyses for dedicated RUs;
Analyze and suggest improvements and savings opportunities in the RUs spend;
Presentation of results from variance analysis to Europe Executive team and RU Leadership;
Works with the RU Leader(s) to prepare unit Budget and regular forecasting;
Supports business case preparation and desired outcome modeling;
Monitoring and approving purchase requisitions for the respective RUs
Working with GL Shared Services team on the proper accounting reflection of the RU spend;
Participation in internal and external audits;
Performs additional tasks according to business needs.
What we seek:
University degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Significant experience in finance and planning, forecasting and budgeting
Deep accounting or finance background
Experience working in Shared Services environment
Fluent level of English, written and spoken.
Proficiency in MS Office applications (especially Excel)
Knowledge in ERP systems and reporting tools
Knowledge of US GAAP principles
Very good presentation and communication skills
Project management skills
Ability to identify and drive improvement opportunities
Problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
