Process Development Engineer
For one of most trusted clients we are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join their Product Management Team.


Process Engineer


Your responsibilities:

- Develop new production processes and/or adapt existing production processes for the assembly, calibration and testing of automotive sensors;
- Define specifications for production equipment and interact with Mechanization (in house) and/or equipment suppliers to ensure equipment will meet specifications;
- Participate in global New Product Development (NPD) project teams to enable successful launch of new products;
- Keep in contact with other departments on process specifications, quality aspects, product specifications and continuity of equipment.


Main requirements:

- BS or MS in mechanical engineering or similar discipline;
- Relevant experience as a Process or Design engineer;
- Experience with Agile, Minitab and SolidWorks a plus; Advanced Skills in Microsoft Excel, Project, PowerPoint and Word;
- Fluency in English – written and verbal;
- Ability to identify & correct problems by utilization of root cause problem solving skills and experimental methods such as DOE;
- Functional understanding of advanced quality planning tools including FMEA, Control plans, to meet TS16949 requirements;
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as SMT, glazing, sintering, laser welding, laser incision, sandblasting etc. is desired but not mandatory;
- Experience with high volume, high quality manufacturing is preferred vs. batch process or very low volume manufacturing environments;
- Experience with automotive OEM’s and/or Tier 1 suppliers is also a plus
