On behalf of one of our clients, we are currently looking for an Experienced Layout Engineer to join the company.

Job Responsibilities:
Participation during the feasibility study of new products;
PCB Design of products respecting customer's specifications and the development rules;
Detailed evaluation of customer requirements;
Perform DFMEA and risk analysis for all new products;
Work closely with Hardware Engineers to ensure electrical and physical parameters are within specification;
Work closely with PCB vendors/suppliers to reduce cost and maximize PCB yield;
Work closely with Mechanical Engineers to define requirements and solutions for mechanical, space and thermal design;
To work closely with the plant at the beginning of the development (process engineer, test engineer, project leader) to assure at the end of the development a good transfer of product in the plant;
To work in relation with the customer for technical added value, respecting project rules set by the Program/Project Managers;
Follow up the Quality and Environmental Policy of the company;
Propose implementation of new methods and techniques for continuous improvement and process control;
Obtain all the information required for their task’s execution;
Improve their qualification according to the approved programs;

Job Requirements:
University degree in science or engineering;
Excellent knowledge of design and development processes with specialty of PCB design;
Knowledge in EMI, EMC and ESD;
Excellent layout design skills using CAD tools;
Schematic capture and design of digital/ analogue circuits;
Knowledge in power electronics layout design;
Familiar with related IPC standards;
Experience in developing and maintaining CAD libraries (PCB footprint and symbols)
Knowledge of more than one Layout tools,
Experience in using PADS and Altium Designer at proficient level;
Experience in using CAM350;
Experience in Thermal Simulations;
Excellent knowledge of automotive electronic components;
Design to cost;
Good knowledge of IATF 16949;
