Currently we are offering a great opportunity to join the team of our partner on a position as
Strategic Sourcing Specialist

Duties and responsibilities:
Manage a robust supply base for materials;
Develop aggressive cost reduction goals, cost containment purchasing programs and timelines for category buyers;
Drive all aspects of category efforts across the sourcing lifecycle;
Ensure implementation of category strategy at the local level ;
Closely monitoring market trends, supply/demand factors, technology enhancements, legal dictates and industry-wide publications to make effective sourcing recommendations;
Work with plant managers, technical personnel and local buyers in identifying and eliminating areas of waste, duplication and obsolescence in materials procurements;
Control costs utilizing various practices.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a purchasing/supply chain or engineering field;
At least 3 years of experience in purchasing , as well as in-depth experience forming regional or global strategic sourcing plans;
Ability in negotiating - strategic, regional and/or global purchasing contracts and creating effective supplier relationship;
Experience in Food/ Agri-business industry is an advantage;
C.P.M./CPSM certification is an advantage;
Driven team player with excellent English - written, verbal and good interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and self-manage;
Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze data & draw out and communicate insights
Results oriented;
Ability to travel up to 30%.
