About the role:
The Data Analyst is responsible for a full range of data activities which ensure operational forecasting and reporting for the respective business units. The Data Analyst will implement processes for data integration projects, will track and analyze business unit trends and make appropriate recommendations that will positively impact operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
Data integration activities
Key consultant between business stakeholders and technical teams
Translate business requirements to technical specifications
Act as subject matter expert in data related matters
Perform data analysis
Investigate data issues, identify root cause and co-ordinate solution proposal with the technical teams
Mentor Junior BI analysts in data and business acumen
Proactively assists with the identification of training and development requirements related to reporting team
Provide ad-hoc training for specific data topics
Skills and Qualifications:
University degree in Business, Finance, IT
Hands on experience with SAP BI or other BI tools (e.g. Qlikview/Qliksense)
Advanced Excel
SQL knowledge (T-SQL/PL/SQL)
Good understanding of data structures
Analytical thinking, detail-oriented and pro-active
Excellent English - B2 - C1
Good verbal and written communication skills
