UX ENGINEER
Job Purpose and Impact:
The User Experience Designer will create innovative solutions for a wide variety of product design challenges in order to ensure a great user experience. In this role, you will support user experience requirements, create prototypes, design user experiences and collaboratively work within teams to deliver functioning solutions.

Key Accountabilities:
Collaborate with Cargill customers, users, product owners, scrum masters, development teams and stakeholders to understand and evaluate project requirements.
Support and coach the product owner in evaluating, analyzing and scoping project solutions from the customer or user perspective.
Create innovative solutions for a wide variety of design challenges including mobile, desktop, hardware interfaces, physical environments and person to person interactions.
Develop prototypes to effectively communicate interactions and design ideas around customer needs.
Present design deliverables to the development team, stakeholders, users or peers in informal and formal settings.
Make recommendations to product owners, development teams and other designers based upon user feedback cycles.
Create and present concepts to inform product roadmap or new product opportunities.
Independently handle complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.
Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors’ degree with a major or minor in UX Design, Product Design, Design, Graphic Design or other related disciplines.
Minimum of 4 years of related work experience
Experience with creating user flows, wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, user interface designs and conducting user testing.
Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
Experience with the Agile mindset and project methodologies.
Experience working across multiple teams, time zones and cultures.
Advanced English level.

Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in user research, UX Design or UI Design.
Experience in initial problem framing, leading workshops, defining customer/user experience, usability testing.
Some experience in front end development.
Demonstrated ability to share knowledge via formal mentoring, documentation, design reviews.
Experience with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe XD) or comparable tools.
