SAFETY and HEALTH COORDINATOR

Currently we are looking for a motivated candidate to join the team of our partner – a leading international production company for the position of:
SAFETY AND HEALTH COORDINATOR
Possessing excellent interpersonal skills you will articulate complex Safety and Health concepts to staff with relative simplicity and clarity in order to gain commitment and involvement at all levels of the organization. The role has intensive communication with S&H central functions (HQ) and frequent interaction within the Group.
Job role:
•Developing and implementing H&S strategies and internal policy for promoting H&S safe working practice.
•Ensuring compliance with mandatory legislation (changing working practices, if necessary) including liaison with regulatory bodies and keeping up to date with new legislation;
•Advising on hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases;
•Carrying out injury and incident investigations;
•Carrying out risk assessments;
•Ensuring site audits are conducted and site policies and procedures are implemented and followed.
Job requirements:
•Higher technical education;
•Good command of English (written & spoken);
•2-3 years of the experience on a similar position.
