Position Title: Reporting Analyst (Finance team)

We are looking for a new colleague to join Experian Global Finance Services (GFS). Recently voted as one of the Top 20 Shared Service Organisations by SSON analytics, we are committed to continuous improvement. Global Finance Services is the fastest growing area of the Experian finance team with c 50% of the Experian Finance roles within this organisation. Global Finance Services is based in 4 main locations: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Sofia, Bulgaria; San Jose, Costa Rica; and Santiago, Chile with satellite offices in Nottingham, UK and Costa Mesa, US.

As part of the expansion of the Finance BI Team in Sofia, we are looking for experienced professionals in the field of automation and analysis to join the team and help us in the digital transformation of our reporting structure. The role will be part of the reporting workstream within the team and will be responsible for both ongoing reporting and dashboard support as well as the development of new tools, solutions and analytical dashboards.

Responsibilities:

Produce regular reports for Senior Management team
Support ongoing reporting for finance teams
Verify data quality and analyse reporting figures
Produce KPI dashboards on monthly basis
Drive continuous improvement and efficiency across all aspects of the financial processes and standardisation across all activities
Assist with other ad hoc reporting requests

Requirements:

Essential:

Advanced Excel and data manipulation skills (Vlookup, Pivot Tables, Power Query, etc.)
Experience in building data models, analysis and visualizations in Excel
Experience in producing regular reports, focus on timing, prioritisation and self-management
Be proactive and work independently, with the skill to adapt and drive change where necessary
Problem solving skills
Fluent verbal and written English

Desirable:

Knowledge and experience with BI tools (preferably Tableau)
VBA knowledge would be considered an advantage
Experience in a global, matrix organisation
Knowledge of systems such as Oracle, Hyperion and OBIEE
Previous accounting experience and understanding of financial principle
