GfK Media Measurement (MM) HUB is a centralized data processing and analytics department in Sofia, part of the GfK Center of Excellence. The main activities of the department include data production for digital consumer behavior and classic media measurement products for multiple global and local markets. The HUB provides services like monitoring, coding, processing and analytics using various proprietary and open source software tools, mostly on cloud-based technology platforms. Along with the end-to-end data production and monitoring, the HUB also supports the research and data analytics for various digital standard and ad-hoc products.

Now we have the pleasure to invite you to join our Centre of Excellence team, based in Sofia, as a:
Data Processing Executive

Key objective of the role:
Execution and monitoring of data processing workflows on a big data production platform
Responsible for regular data releases and related data checks for multiple markets worldwide
Related collaboration with different teams and stakeholders in a global organization

Main Responsibilities:
Execute and monitor predefined procedures for data processing using different proprietary tools
Ensure daily incoming data quality checks and timely escalations of quality issues
Responsible for processing of regular data releases for different markets worldwide
Align and collaborate with related global teams – product, operations, software development
Provide expertise on the processed data and related products
Work with various proprietary and open source data processing applications
Report to Production Manager and ensure correct escalation process
Communicate with data providers, local and global research teams
Support the deployment and testing of new data processing tools and workflows
Assist in documenting of the team knowledge

Required competencies/skills:
Minimum of 1 year related work experience (data processing, analysis of big data, statistics)
Experience with large data sets (e.g. Excel) and general data management
Good level of English language and good communication skills
Advanced analytical skills and data details attitude
Good computer literacy and experience with MS Office
Knowledge of data research and data quality management
Understanding of internet technologies and big data concepts
Some understanding of data query tools (e.g. SQL, SPSS, R)
University degree
