End User Services Engineer Digital Workplace

Role & Responsibility:
Managing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager environment, in the current / future Windows client operating system environment in a systematic and a structured manner
Analysis of business requirements, configuration of 3rd party software implementation of infrastructure solutions, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of workplace applications and services, support and maintenance of infrastructure and information systems
Design, creation and maintenance of following SCCM activities: Task Sequence, Compliance Baselines, User and Computer Management, Application Management and Lifecycle, Software Updates..
Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas towards Cloud; supports the migration towards cloud based services (such as Office365 etc.)
Evaluate/Recommend/Implement new products and emerging technologies in the end-user services area, particularly in the Client Operating Systems and SCCM area
Technical skills required:
Deep knowledge of Configuration Manager Current Branch, Active Directory and Client Operating Systems (Windows 10, Mac OS, iOS, Android)
Very good knowledge of tools such as WMI, MDT 2013+, CM Console, CM Right-Click and Windows administrative tools in general
Very good knowledge of Application Packaging concepts
Good knowledge about Mac OS cloud management systems such as JAMF(former Casper)
Software updates via SCCM for existing infrastructure/applications
Knowledge on Microsoft App-V Platform, Microsoft Desktop Optimization Platform – MBAM, UE-V, etc.
Client OS – i.e. Windows 10; technical application experience with advanced knowledge of the Windows registry, file and folder security, local/domain user security, and operating system troubleshooting
Strong experience & deep knowledge in at least a few scripting and / or programming languages – PowerShell mandatory
Working knowledge and understanding of McAfee products, EPO configuration and impact on end-user distributions
