Now we are looking for a highly motivated and result-oriented Expert general insurance – Property and Marine Cargo underwriter

Reporting to
Head of Section General Non-motor insurance and reinsurance

The Expert will join our Corporate Insurance Department at the Headoffice and will work closely with the other team members to service part of the Property and Cargo portfolio of DZI – enquiries from our sales network, brokers and clients.

Day-to-day tasks and responsibilities:
• Review and underwrite enquiries and prepare quotes related to small and mid-sized accounts - Marine Cargo and Property insurance lines
• Participates in the company’s projects related to product development and updates of the core informational system, portals and etc. – focus on Marine Cargo insurance.
• Work closely with the other team members, the Head of section and the Department director to provide support on the large clients and projects – can be a great learning and development opportunity
• Actively communicate and support the Sales network colleagues from Sofia and other locations in Bulgaria to collect underwriting information, prepare offers and resolve clients’ requests
• Organize the files and documentation flow related to authorizations and offers and participate in administrative activities in the section
• Maintain and update registers, generate reports necessary for the activities of the section

The successful candidate should have:
• University degree
• Very good command of English language
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office, Outlook, EXCEL).
• Previous experience in insurance industry will be considered an advantage
• Skills for leading successful correspondence in both Bulgarian and English, strong analytical and organizational skills
• Eagerness to learn
