We are looking for a Technical Documentation Unit Manager to lead our highly-professional international team in the creation of first-class documentation created on the basis of a single source. The team is responsible for all partner, administrator, user, and developer documentation of all Acronis products, starting with True Image aimed for home usage and ending with the enterprise-level Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Management of the documentation department (5-10 employees) including:
setting goals by SMART
setting priorities
staff development
Support and process improvements of efficient interaction between all Acronis departments to collect requirements, clarify implementation details, discuss deadlines, and quality of documentation
Collect feedback about documentation quality, including RCA to improve the quality of documentation
Strategic planning of technical documentation development across the whole of Acronis
Risk management and conflict solving
Technologies tracing and tools investigation in the field of technical documentation
Hiring of highly qualified staff for the technical documentation department


SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of leadership experience
3+ years of experience in creating technical documentation in English
Sufficient technical background to understand the architecture of the Acronis product and the technologies used
Good communication skills and experience in networking between departments in a large organization
Excellent spoken and written English
