COMPLIANCE ANALYST
Position summary
The Compliance Analyst will ensure that all of our activities follow the necessary rules and regulations, and comply with legal and regulatory boundaries and jurisdictions. We seek a professional with basic business understanding who will help provide compliance support to one of our business lines.

Major Tasks
Vet proposed transactions, taking into account internal guidelines as well as outside regulatory requirements to mitigate risk.
Help ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements, including financial crime, anti-money laundering, anti-bribery and corruption, data privacy and sanctions.
Administer defined procedures, analyses and report preparation.
Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
Derivative Transaction Monitoring and other monitoring activities as function evolves
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Fluency in English
Familiarity with the commodities/derivatives markets ideal but not necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of experience
Previous regulatory compliance experience ideal but not necessary
Strong excel skills
Database and system skills
Attention to detail
Problem solving and analytical skills and conceptual strength
Good communication skills: ability to work across cultures and time zones
Team player
Organized and good sense of priorities
