What to expect:

• Shape how we apply machine learning in operational processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
• Working with different business roles to identify opportunities to apply machine learning
• Data cleansing, transformation and analysis
• Building, evaluating and training machine learning models
• Communicating your findings (e.g. visualization) and explaining how techniques work to non-technical colleagues


To be successful you need to have
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, quantitative social science or similar
• Min. 1-3 years professional experience in building, evaluating and training machine learning models, ideally within the payments industry


General Knowledge and Technical Skills
• Working knowledge in R or Python as well as knowledge in SQL and other tools to extract and transform data. Knowledge of scala or other languages would be an advantage
• Experience of dealing with both structured and unstructured data would be beneficial
• Familiarity with supervised and unsupervised machine learning
• Working knowledge of some visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, ggplot2)
• Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical roles
• Full working proficiency in English; German is a plus

• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail
• Independent, collaborative and pro-active working style
• Assertive and results-focused with good communication skills
• Hands-on mentality and an international mind-set
