Responsibilities:

* Implements the company Safety standards and ensures they are applied in the warehousing operations;
* Leads and develops the team;
* Plans the needed resources for the respective warehousing activities;
* Defines the required quantity and mix of warehouse assets and equipment and ensures that they are maintained at optimal costs;
* Identifies quality risks; defines, implements and evaluates local quality procedures and working instructions;
* Ensures registration of stock movements; performs regular inventory checks and monitors the stock accuracy and stock losses;
* Supports the selection, contracting, implementation and evaluation of Warehousing Service Providers;
* Provides clear and accurate information on warehousing performance;
* Coordinates annual budget preparation and its quarterly up-dates;
* Initiates and implements improvements in the warehousing processes and procedures;

Requirements:

* University degree in the area of Logistics, Engineering or Economics;
* At least 5 years of managerial experience in the area of Logistics/ Materials Management, preferably within the FMCG sector;
* Strong knowledge about Warehousing and Logistics processes;
* Excellent planning and organizational skills;
* Proven decision making skills with ability to work on pressure;
* Strong ability to manage teams;
* Highly-proficient in MS office; experience with SAP is an advantage;
* Excellent in English.
