We are looking for experienced QA Team Lead to join our cross-functional team in Acronis R&D center in Sofia. This team is working closely with strategic Service Provider partners (like GoDaddy) and Enterprise customers (like BMW, Bosch, Siemens and others) to analyze their needs and then design and implement solutions that extend our core Acronis Cyber Protect product and Acronis Cyber Cloud platform.

This person will be leading a team of Quality Assurance engineers responsible for delivering of quality results on a variety of projects. On this role, you will be identifying, driving and tracking strategic initiatives and measuring results by monitoring quality metrics across multiple testing functions; generating strategy that ensures the goals set for the quality organization are achieved; implementing closed loop processes and measures to ensure improvements are realized; creating and executing a quality project roadmap; ensuring development and professional growth of each team member.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruiting, hiring, mentoring and coaching of quality assurance engineers at different levels of experience;
Manage a QA team supporting systems with a defined product, technology, and overall manual testing strategy for feature launches;
Managing and executing against project plans to deliver commitments;
Test requirements clarification and definition of a test strategy;
Revamp the existing Testing process Audit and Quality Control processes;
Driving automation best practices and tooling to boost overall productivity;
Providing technical expertise and leadership throughout app life cycle;
Gaps identification and driving improvements in processes, products and overall customer experiences;
Customers’ issues analyzing and root causes identification.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

5+ years of experience in the field of Quality Assurance;
2+ years in a QA managerial role, including people management experience, hiring and growing QAEs and SDETs;
Experience in identifying and reviewing test plans, test cases, and testing results;
Comfortable in working with large, cross-functional, multi-departmental teams across management levels in formal and informal settings;
Experience working closely with development and business teams to understand requirements and to communicate problem impacts during the development/test process;
Experience in engaging with stake holders to set and drive Quality Assurance goals;
Very good level of English.
