Paysafe Group (Paysafe) is a leading specialised payments platform. Its core purpose is to enable businesses and consumers to connect and transact seamlessly through industry-leading capabilities in payment processing, digital wallet, card issuing and online cash solutions.

We are currently looking for a Controller based in the Paysafe Sofia, Garitage Park office and will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the finance function for the Issuing business. This will include the timely delivery of financial reports, efficient and accurate maintenance of accounting records, adherence to SOX controls which will enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results and ensure that reported results comply with international accounting standards.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership skills and a comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, concepts, and regulatory requirements.

Essential Duties:
Management of the safeguarding and scheme settlement process, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met in the finance function
Management of the collection of receivables from customers and funding requirements
Manage all aspects of month end closing and ensure timely delivery of financial reporting and analysis to the business
Work closely with the wider Issuing business to ensure the delivery of top quality service to customers
Be a dependable and strong team player
Ensure SOX controls and procedures are maintained and regularly performed.
Ensure that all Balance Sheet accounts reconciliation executed in a timely manner using Blackline
Coordinate the provision of information to internal and external auditors for the annual audits.
Performs other duties as assigned

Your Profile:
Qualified ACCA or equivalent
8- 10 years total experience (at least 4 in a management capacity or related experience)
Statutory accounting and financial reporting a must (preferably with a BIG 4)
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Attention to detail and accuracy of work
Excellent advanced Excel skills, MS office
Knowledge and experience in using ERP systems, Oracle, HFM
Robust knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting in a regulatory framework
Ability to build strong relationships, working cross function with internal and external stakeholders including senior management
Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
Ability to understand end to end processes, identify improvement & simplification opportunities and design and implement standardized solutions.
