Research Associate

Role overview:

As an Operations Associate, you will support the Project Managers in the ownership of key tasks and activities in the end to end process to ensure that they are managed in a timely way and executed to the right threshold of quality to move the tasks through the project pipeline. You should be flexible, and able to move focus between different tasks, with a can-do attitude, proactive with strong attention to detail.

Your contribution to supporting the Operations Project Managers will ensure that research projects are set up to enable collection of great insights. You will go out of your way to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders on the projects you are working on, and report any issues proactively to the Operations Director.

To be successful in this critical role for our partner you will need to be able to combine attention to detail, handle multiple priorities & projects, move between projects and clients seamlessly and be tech savvy.

Responsibilities include:

Managing assigned tasks with within the project end to end lifecycle, and ensuring that these tasks are delivered to agreed time and quality
Setting up research projects using different online platforms (e.g. (Alchemer (previously known as SurveyGizmo), Recollective, Qualtrics, etc.) to ensure accurate data collection
Proactively escalating project issues to the Project Managers and Operations Director (e.g. feasibility, data quality, timeline slippage, scope creep)
Proactively building relationships with the full project team beyond transactional communications
Following internal processes and procedures, including agreed accountabilities and expectations
Proactively building strong and trusting relationships with key stakeholders including third-party vendors that are involved in the work we do

Requirements:

Minimum of 1 of year experience working in a similar role within a market research organization
Good technical skills with a keen interest in using online platforms
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage people at all levels of the organization
Excellent command / highly proficient in spoken and written English (min. C1 level; all communication with suppliers, clients and within the company is in English). Fluency in a second language is desirable, but not essential
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail
