We are looking for our client – a leading international manufacturer and distributor of fashionable apparel - for a competent and motivated professional to join their team on the position of:

GENERAL MANAGER - TEXTILE INDUSTRY
Among the responsibilities of the position are:
• Manufacture the right product, in the right quantity, at the right time, at the agreed acceptable quality level and at the best cost possible thus achieving a high service level to provided forecasted demand;
• Manage existing manufacturing capacity (450k units), optimize existing capacity utilization, and develop new capacity to meet our EU manufacturing needs;
• Develop and maintain true partnership with the local contractors and service providers with the objective of building long lasting win-win relationship throughout our entire supply chain next work in Bulgaria;
• Manage relationship with the key Bulgarian logistic partner to assure a seamless integration and continue building this critical win-win partnership
• Work both internally and externally to streamline the business processes to assure optimal efficiency of all internal operations as well as the efficiency of the contractors and partners.
• Preparation of timely and reliable financial statements and reports;
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses and creates P&L reports;
• Implementation and monitoring of adherence to corporate policies;
• Ensure employees work productively and develop professionally;
• Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance;
• Prepare regular reports for Head office;
• Ensure operational, legal, and financial compliance.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role;
• Experience in garment manufacturing and quality control;
• Partnership and contacts with our local garments manufacturing contractors will be considered as a senior advantage;
• Experience in planning and budgeting;
• Knowledge of business process and functions (finance, HR, supply chain);
• Knowledge of legal, labour, indirect and direct tax and similar statutory local compliance requirements;
• Strong analytical ability and ability to lead a team;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills;
• Problem-solving aptitude;
• BSc/BA in Business or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus;
• Proficient in Bulgarian and English.
