Paysafe is currently searching for a Bank Reconciliation Agent to join its Finance department. As part of the Bank Reconciliation group, you will be responsible to ensure all payment processing bank accounts are reconciled on a daily basis and all variances are investigated and resolved in a timely manner and you will provide accurate, reliable and timely financial reporting.

What you will do:

• Prepare and analyze daily bank reconciliations for payment processing banks which involves analyzing a high volume of transactions and reports on a daily basis
• Investigate and resolve all variances and discrepancies in a timely manner on a daily and ongoing basis through detailed analysis and diligent follow ups with internal and external parties
• Ensuring ongoing and effective communication with banking partners and internal staff to facilitate the reconciliation/variance resolution and reporting process
• Prepare monthly journal entries
• Perform month-end general ledger account analyses
• Execute daily and monthly summary reporting

To be successful you need to have:

• College degree (D.E.C) in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent training
• 3 years’ experience in similar functions in the banking industry or in the payment processing sector or similar fields
• Meticulous and analytical and possess great attention to detail with strong emphasis on reconciling, investigating, and resolving financial variances in an independent and timely manner
• Highly proficient in MS Office, especially in Excel and have substantial prior experience working with advanced formulas
• Autonomous quick learner and possess the ability to learn independently with limited guidance
• Able to work under pressure, independently and in a team
• Solid knowledge of basic accounting
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Bilingualism required (written and spoken)
