For their team we are looking for motivated and responsible professional for the role of

Technical Project Manager, Solar PV and Hybrid projects

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage technical work packages or act as a lead project manager as part of multi-disciplinary renewable energy development team
• Work in coordination with our central development team, financial analysis team and country managers
• Provide technical input into projects at all project stages
• Define solar measurement campaign strategies
• Oversee ongoing solar measurement campaigns
• Develop early phase project design and evaluation: layouts, technology selection, production estimates and generation profiles
• Define scope and coordinate services of external consultants
• Undertake technical reviews of design documentation and third party technical reports
• Contribute to the tender preparation and negotiation
• Contribute to commercial agreements and contracts to ensure project risks are mitigated
• Participate in the technical and commercial evaluation of emerging technologies in solar PV, hybrid generation, energy storage and broader renewables spectrum.
• Flexibility to travel internationally on a regular basis to evaluate or oversee projects or meet key stakeholders

Role requirements and essential skills needed:
• Higher education in a related field
• Experience in the renewables sector and excellent understanding of the Solar PV technology and utility scale power generation projects
• Excellent written and oral command of English to communicate with technical and non-technical colleagues and external partners
• Computer skills: Work freely with office software tools as well as technology specific suits (AutoCad, PV Syst)
• Understanding of good industry practice and engineering standards
• Experience and understanding of commercial contracts and negotiations
• Experience and understanding of project and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage budgets and timelines on projects effectively
• Ability to communicate effectively with project team and external stakeholders
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work on numerous projects during the same period
• High work ethics and ability to work with sensitive and confidential information
