ROLE OVERVIEW:As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be focused on Preventive, Predictive and Curative maintenance activities, being part of the Manufacturing Equipment team.
More specifically, you will:
Perform activities related to predictive, preventive and curative maintenance processes and follow up on relevant tasks to ensure the high performance of the equipment
Be responsible for the correct and timely execution of the planned maintenance activities for the production equipment
Use the Asset Management module of the company ERP system to track Equipment maintenance activities
Ensure the development process (teach and coach) of technicians by leading trainings (e.g. Contact Block refurbishment)
Manage the Equipment spare part availability and create orders for spare parts
Drive and implement problem-solving techniques to ensure effective, quality-driven solutions of complicated issues related to the equipment
Proactively seek and deploy new and improved ways of working in all day to day activities in relation to the process of continuous improvement
Create, update and apply work instructions/checklists to perform full maintenance activities
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE?
Ready to work on a shift schedule ( 1st and 2nd )
Engineering degree with a technical focus, preferably in Mechatronics or Electronics
Good dexterity, a steady hand with attention to the small details and the ability to work under a microscope for extended periods of time
Relevant previous experience with equipment maintenance in a manufacturing environment at least 2 years
Team player and result-driven attitude, excellent coaching capabilities
Strong reporting skills and problem-solving techniques
Basic inventory management techniques
Very good computer literacy
Fluency in English
Experience in using Solidworks, CNC and 3d printer technology would be considered an advantage
