The Opportunity

Apex Group is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our newly formed Talent Acquisition team. You will join as Head of Talent Acquisition Operations, Europe focused on enabling the smooth running of recruitment processes across all European sites. You will manage a large team of Talent Acquisition Coordinators in this role who support our Talent Acquisition Specialists and Talent Acquisition Partners in hiring efforts across our regions.

We’ll be looking for you to lead by example in improving processes as we scale our recruiting operations. You can expect to get involved in global projects and help senior leadership in achieving our vision for how recruitment works in the company.

You will have responsibility for our Talent Acquisition Coordination team based in Bulgaria, which may have a much wider remit in the longer term. This team will deliver best-in-class interview coordination processes (ie. candidate experience) and will own department wide duties in the running of our recruitment operations (ie. general administration, invoicing, talent branding initiatives and Talent data).

We work in a matrix structure, so your team members will partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists focused on hiring for sub regions (ie. Northern Europe, UK, Channel Islands, Luxembourg and Southern/Eastern Europe), so you need to be prepared to work and manage expectations both locally and regionally with both internal stakeholders (within Talent) and wider business stakeholders. Our model involved a 2-1 split (2 recruiters working with 1 coordinator).

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you can consider your duties to be wide-ranging, with some focus areas as mentioned above. You will have the following focus:

Lead your team in supporting hiring targets to be delivered, candidates are well looked after and hiring managers feel supported.
Support in building recruiting excellence across the wider Europe team, helping to bring a globally dispersed team together to ensure team unity is strong.
Coach and mentor your team and the local Bulgaria colleagues (ie. Recruiters), ensuring they continue to grow and improve their delivery year-on-year.
Form part of the Talent Acquisition Europe leadership team and work closely with colleagues and peers across HR on cross-stream projects.
You can expect to have your Talent Acquisition Coordination team deliver the following:

Offer day-to-day operational excellence across all recruitment for Europe region.
Create an outstanding candidate experience journey. Put candidates at the forefront of what do.
Build and develop processes that enable continuous improvements across the department.
Manage the smooth running of the department as it develops, ensuring coordinators are highly skilled both in operational and department duties (ie. Administration such as invoicing, POs and referral payments to name a few)
